I am so thrilled and honored to have Quick and Easy Korean Cooking chosen as Gourmet’s Cookbook of the Month!
I went to New York to demonstrate some very basic cooking techniques (how to make rice and cutting techniques). I was able to checkout the Gourmet kitchens and meet the editors. I expected state-of-the-art appliances and granite countertops, but each of the food editors’ own kitchens were humble IKEA-like with plain white formica cabinets vinyl countertops, like you would find in a regular apartment. So, each of their recipes are tested in a “home kitchen.” Pretty dang cool!
