OK. So this isn’t really “Korean” per se, but I wanted to share the first harvest from my vegetable garden. I planted a bunch of fun things (mostly tomatoes, eggplant, squash and peppers), but the first handful I just picked this afternoon were the purple, green and yellow beans.
They aren’t quite enough to make a huge dish, but they could make a nice banchan (side dish) — quite tasty sauteed with a bit of garlic, sesame oil and some ganjang (soy sauce).
Or I might just add them to a colorful salad Nicoise (I know, really not Korean at all!).
